The Y-coding is a hybrid mating face for M12 circular connectors with four data and four power contacts. Data transmission is comparable with the D-coding. Power transmission is comparable with the M12 A-coding. M12 Y-coded connectors are used for I/O boxes and network components for Fieldbus and EtherCAT.
M12 hybrid Y-coded circular connectors offer IP65/67 ratings and Cat5 performance up to 100Mbit/s. The M12 hybrid Y-coded connector features a push/pull polyamide (PA) housing, screw locking mechanism, crimp terminals and Y-coded insert designed in accordance with IEC 61076-2-113.
Y-coding is a hybrid mating surface of the M12 connector, including 4 data transmission contacts and 4 power contacts. Operating over the -40°C to +85°C temperature range, these shielded connectors offer a 50V current rating and a 6A current rating.
