The name of the crystal head of the network cable is as follows:
1. RJ-45
Both ends of each twisted pair are connected to network cards and hubs (or switches) by installing RJ-45 connectors (commonly known as crystal heads).

2. RJ11
The RJ11 interface is very similar to the RJ45 interface, but only has 4 pins (8 for RJ45). In computer systems, RJ11 is mainly used to connect modems. In daily applications, RJ-11 is commonly found in telephone lines.

4. RJ12
There is also a RJ12 that is usually used for voice communication, the structure is the same as the first two, but there are six pins (6p6c). At the same time, there are two types of six-slot four-pin (6p4c) and six-slot two-pin (6p2c).
The standard RJ45 is 8 pins, which is matched with a twisted pair network cable with RJ45 Plug. RJ11/RJ12 is 4 pins or 6 pins. The line with RJ11/RJ12 Plug is matched with RJ11/RJ12, and the common one is telephone line.
6P4C: There are 6 slots on the crystal head, but only the middle 4 slots have copper cores. This kind of crystal head is larger, usually called: RJ12 crystal head. In addition to 6P4C, there are also 6P6C ones.
4P4C: There are 4 slots on the crystal head, and all 4 slots have copper cores. This kind of crystal head is smaller, usually called: RJ11 crystal head. In addition to 4P4C, there are also 4P2C.
2. Different uses
Generally speaking, the phone crystal head generally refers to 4P4C (applicable to the PBX) or 4P2C (applicable to ordinary telephones).
There are also 2P2C phone crystal heads that are very rarely used. Commonly used crystal heads are RJ45 (8P), RJ12 (6P), RJ11 (4P)
