M12 K coded connector complies with IEC 61076-2-111 standard, conductor size 2.5mm² (16AWG), can provide AC 800V voltage, 16A current, realizes high power transmission with compact M12 interface, and provides a very good option for power connection in automation field which only have very little space. K code M12 connectors have 5 contacts include PE , which could gurantee the safety of operators.
M12 encoding types are A encoding, B encoding, D encoding and X encoding. A-code, B-code and X-code are some of the earliest developed and longest-available M12 connectors. X-coded connectors are increasingly in demand in high-speed industrial Ethernet and will eventually replace A-coded and D-coded components in Ethernet applications. The latest M12 coding types currently under development are K coding for AC and L coding for PROFINET DC.
M12 is the most common circular connector and is well known for its use as a data and signal interface. To enable a similarly compact interface for energy-intensive applications, the M12 is now also available with IEC 61076-2-111 standard K coding

Its rated voltage is 63V and its rated current 16A.
