Product Description
 

We provide pre-terminated CAN bus cables for our drives that support the CANopen communications protocol 

The cables are designed for use in CAN systems. They are suitable for nearly all CAN devices.

Shield connected to GND , with 120-Ohm termination resistors, Suitable for the use in CAN FD buses
 
This CAN Cable is 2 meters in length with DB9 female connectors on each end WITH 120 ohm terminators in each DB9. 

The cable consists of stranded 24 AWG copper twisted-pair conductors for the CAN signals; electronic grade flexible polyethylene insulation, tinned copper shield and a flame retardant violet PVC jacket. 

A terminator should be used at the end of each bus system, the terminator provide line balancing for best CAN signals.

120 Ohm terminating resistor across CAN\_L and CAN\_H in each connector

Cables and connectors complies to ISO 11898 and CiA® specification CiA 303-1

The CAN-GND signal is connected to cable shield to protect the differential signal against electromagnetic influences.
Tappings at the main bus cable can be realized with T-connectors in order to insert CAN nodes.  

Both ends of the CAN net have to be terminated externally via 120 Ω termination.
