Common fault detection methods in CAN bus communication ?
1. When the working voltage provided by the automobile power supply system is lower than 12V, some electronic control modules will temporarily stop working, thus making the entire automobile multiplex information transmission system temporarily unable to communicate.
2. CAN bus communication failures are generally caused by poor line contact, line open circuit and line short circuit. In the actual maintenance, there are mostly poor contact and open circuit faults.
3. The faults of poor line contact mostly occur at the terminals of the CAN bus connection wires, and most of the faults occur at the line connection plug-in and the connection between the wire end terminal and the metal.
4. The main reasons for short-circuit faults are short-circuit faults caused by damaged electrical parts, and short-circuit faults caused by wear of wires and harnesses.
The detection method of the bus module :
1. Check whether the ECU power supply is normal and whether the voltage is the current power supply voltage.
2. Check whether the connection of the WAKE-UP wake-up line is normal, and the voltage is approximately equal to the power supply voltage.
3. Check whether the CAN-H, CAN-L wiring is normal, whether there is a 60 ohm resistance between the interfaces (4-5), and whether the connection is reversed.
